⚠️ Important Notice: GoBoats are not designed to tow people or heavy loads. When towing a dock, do not exceed 75 lbs of total weight on the dock. Exceeding this limit may cause the motor to overheat and result in gear failure.
⚠️ Towing Strickly Prohibited.
At no time may GoBoats®, paddleboards, or any add-on inflatable docks be towed by another boat, personal watercraft (jet ski), or any motorized vessel.
Island Lake Use Only Rental equipment must remain on Island Lake at all times and may not be transported off-lake.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete the waiver(s) and brief operating and safety orientation.
Life Jackets (PFDs) A properly sized personal flotation device (PFD) is included with every rental and is required to be worn by children under 12.
We recommend for optimal fit and comfort that users provide their own PFD.

What if the weather changes?
In Washington state the weather can change in a minute on the water. It is important that you check the weather forecast for the specific day(s) that you plan to rent.
Safety comes first. Rentals may be delayed or canceled due to unsafe conditions. We’ll work with you to reschedule or refund as appropriate.
Can we fish from the boats?
Can we fish from the GoBoat?
Yes. Fishing from a GoBoat is allowed, and its stable design makes it a fun way to fish around Island Lake. Please use care with hooks, tackle, and other sharp objects to avoid puncturing or damaging the inflatable surfaces.
Anglers are responsible for following all Washington fishing regulations and must have any required fishing license. Please do not attach rod holders, anchors, or other equipment to the GoBoat unless the equipment is specifically designed for the boat and approved by Island Lake Electric & Paddle.
For everyone's safety, keep fishing gear secured while underway and never stand on the outer inflatable tubes while casting or landing a fish.
Can we swim from the boat or boards?
Absolutely! However beaware that swimming is not permitted at the public boat launch in accordance with posted rules.
Docks on Island Lake are private property. Please stay at least 50 feet from private docks and private property.
Safety and consideration for other lake users is a top concern of ours. Failure to follow our Safety Policy can cause termination of this rental agreement and result in forfieture of the rental fees.

Are life vests provided?
Yes. A U.S. Coast Guard–approved life vest is provided for the primary customer. You will need to provide your own PFD for children under 12. By state law Childern under 12 are required to wear them at all times.
Are these things stable?
Yes, GoBoats are known for being extremely stable, primarily due to their unique round shape and rigid, multi-layer inflatable construction, which makes them virtually untippable and easy to stand on, even for activities like fishing, unlike tippy kayaks or paddle boards. Their design offers a large, stable surface area, handling waves well and allowing for freedom of movement, making them great for all ages and skill levels on various waters, including calm lakes and even some ocean conditions.
